An ancient two-storeyed farmhouse built in wood and brick, Akkarakkalam Memoirs is operated by its fourth generation. This ancient Syrian Christian family has been managing this family for over 150 years now, right from the time of K.C. Joseph Akkarakkalam. Akkarakkalam Memoirs is located in Kainakary village in Alleppey district of Kerala.

 

The farmhouse is set in 10 acres of land, filled with the local flora and fauna. It's an ideal haunt for tourists who are waiting to spend with nature. Learn how to ride a boat or a canoe, learn how to harvest paddy or to cook traditional Kerala dishes. You can do all these and more at our farmhouse.
